Getting started

What is Skillovert?

Skillovert is a digital-first institute. You can learn in programs, courses and tracks (opening soon), use tools for creators and businesses, meet the founder one to one, and earn certificates that can be verified.

Is it free to join?

Yes. Creating an account is free and comes with a yearly allowance of free credits. Credits are what you spend on tools, meetings, support and courses.

Can I enroll in a course now?

Not yet. The courses and tracks are listed with their names and are coming soon. Meanwhile you can use the tools, meet the founder and contact support. Create an account and you will be among the first to hear when enrollment opens.

Which countries can use Skillovert?

Anyone, anywhere. Prices are set in Pakistani rupees and shown in your currency. The YouTube earnings data is for Pakistan at the moment.

Your account

How do I create an account?

Choose Sign up, enter your details, verify your email with the code we send, then set up two-factor sign-in. You then reach your dashboard.

What is two-factor sign-in and why is it required?

After your password you also enter a six-digit code from the Skillovert app. It protects your credits and your personal information even if someone learns your password. You also receive recovery codes: keep them somewhere safe.

How do I get the Skillovert app?

Open skillovert.com/install for step-by-step instructions for Android, iPhone, iPad and computers. In short: open dashboard.skillovert.com/app on your phone or computer, or scan the QR code on the two-factor setup page. Then install it: Add to Home screen on a phone, Install in the browser menu on a computer. Sign in to the app once with your email, password and the code we email you. After that, open the Code tab and press Show my code.

Why does the app show a message before my code?

The app shows a short message, sometimes an advertisement, for a few seconds before it shows your code. The wait is timed by our server, so it works even if the advert does not load.

Can I use more than one device?

Yes, up to five. Add each one in the app, and remove any you no longer have in Settings, Security.

How do notifications work?

Turn them on in the app's Device tab. You then get a notification when something happens on your account and when we announce news such as new courses and events. On iPhone and iPad the app must be on your home screen first.

I lost my phone or can't open the app. What do I do?

Sign in with one of your recovery codes, then remove the old device in Settings, Security and add the new one. If you have no recovery codes left, use the appeal form on the sign-in page and our team will help you after checking it is you.

I forgot my password.

Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page and follow the email we send.

Can I have more than one account?

No. One person, one account. Accounts opened to claim free credits more than once are closed.

How do I close my account or delete my information?

Raise a request through support or the contact form. Some records, such as payments and certificates, may need to be kept, and we will tell you what we can delete.

Credits and payments

What are credits?

Credits are the prepaid balance you use inside Skillovert. Tools, courses, meetings, support and events are all paid with credits. They have no cash value outside Skillovert.

How do I buy credits or a membership?

Open Credits or Membership in your dashboard, choose an amount or a plan, make the bank transfer or wallet payment shown, then upload your receipt. Our team verifies it, usually within one working day, and adds your credits.

Why isn't my payment showing?

Offline payments are checked by a person. Make sure you uploaded the receipt on the payment page, and allow one working day. If it is still missing, contact support with the payment number.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, international transfer and mobile wallets. The methods available for your country are shown at checkout.

Do you take card payments?

Not at present.

Can I get a refund?

Credits you have bought or been given stay in your account for later use; they are not turned back into money. Spent credits are generally not refunded, and meetings cancelled 24 hours or more ahead are returned as credits. If a payment was taken in error, tell us and we will correct it. See the refund policy for the full rules.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits you buy or receive stay in your account for later use.

What are vouchers?

A voucher gives a discount on a top-up or membership. Enter the code at checkout.

Tools

What tools can I use?

At launch: the YouTube Earning Estimator and YouTube Revenue Rates, with more tools, such as the Cutaways video makers, being added.

How accurate are the YouTube estimates?

They are planning estimates built from creator-reported earnings, publicly shared creator information and our own modelling, not official YouTube data. Treat the range, not a single number, as the answer. At the moment the data is for Pakistan.

Why does a tool cost credits?

Credits pay for the tool and keep it sustainable. Each tool shows what it costs before you start, and some tools are free.

Are my files uploaded when I use Cutaways?

No. Cutaways renders in your browser, and your pictures and clips stay on your device.

Can I help improve the earnings data?

Yes. Inside the YouTube Revenue Rates tool you can share your real earnings with a screenshot. Approved reports earn credits and stay anonymous.

Learning and certificates

How are programs, courses and tracks organized?

A program is a group of courses (for example Essential Literacy). A course is a subject (for example Digital Literacy). A track is a version of a course for a particular audience (for example For Professionals). Each track has sections and lessons.

How do certificates work?

A certificate is issued after you finish a track's lessons, pass the test and, where required, take a short certification meeting. Anyone can verify a certificate by its number on the Verify page.

Can I take a test without enrolling?

Yes. Skill tests on the public site are open to everyone to check their level.

Meetings, events and support

How do I meet the founder?

Open Meetings in your dashboard and choose a free time. The meeting costs credits, shown before you confirm.

How do I contact support?

Sign in and open Support in your dashboard, or use the contact form if you cannot sign in. Support requests cost credits so that every request gets a quick, careful answer; account and sign-in problems that lock you out can be raised free through the appeal form.

What if I need to cancel a meeting or event?

Cancel at least 24 hours before the start and your credits are returned.

Privacy, safety and ads

What information do you keep about me?

Your account details, learning and activity records, payment records and, if you choose, identity documents. The privacy policy explains this in full.

Are my identity documents safe?

They are encrypted, stored privately and visible only to authorized staff. Every view is logged.

Why do you check devices and networks?

To protect your account and to stop one person claiming free credits many times. We use technical signals such as the app's device identifier, the country and a one-way hash of the network, for security only. A shared device is a reason for us to look, never an automatic ban.

Does Skillovert show ads?

The public pages of the site may show ads. We never show ads in the paid learning area, tests or meetings. You control advertising cookies in Cookie preferences.
