YouTube Revenue Rates
What does YouTube pay per 1,000 views for your niche and audience country? Exact rates, three-year plans, country and niche comparisons, trends and branded reports — for members.
The problem
Everyone asks the same questions: how much does YouTube pay for 1,000 views? For a million? In my niche, in my country? Payout screenshots can't answer that — rates differ by more than 50× depending on where your viewers live, what you teach and how people watch. Guessing leads to unrealistic income plans and the wrong niche.
The solution
YouTube Revenue Rates turns it into numbers you can plan with: earnings from 1,000 to 1 billion views for your niche and audience country, adjusted for what really moves revenue — watch time, views that show ads, how valuable your audience is to advertisers, language, dubbing and channel age. You always get a realistic range, never one hopeful number.
How it works
Members only. The whole tool is private to signed-in members. Start a session to enter your real monthly views, up to five audience countries, and your channel's quality. Get a monthly estimate with a likely range, where the money comes from, what would lift your rate most, a three-year projection with seasonality, an income-goal calculator and a monetisation-readiness check.
Compare scenarios, niches and countries, and see year-by-year trends. Your own country is included; other countries' rates are unlocked with credits and stay yours.
Reports: save the estimate as a branded Skillovert report, download it as a PDF or spreadsheet, and re-download it any time from your account.
Where the numbers come from: creator-reported earnings, publicly shared creator information and experiences, and our own modelling — refined by real figures creators share through Report your earnings.
Frequently asked
How accurate is it?
It is a planning estimate, not a promise. The figures are built from creator-reported earnings, publicly shared creator information and experiences, and modelling — not official YouTube data. Treat the range, not one number, as the answer, and check YouTube Studio for your exact earnings.
What is the difference between CPM and RPM?
CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 ad views before YouTube's share. RPM is what you, the creator, actually earn per 1,000 views of your videos after YouTube's share, across all views — including those that never showed an ad. This tool estimates RPM.
Why does the country of my viewers matter so much?
Advertisers pay far more to reach audiences in some countries than in others. A view from the United States can be worth ten or more views from lower-spend markets. Where your viewers are matters more than where you live.
What do credits pay for?
A session unlocks the planner. Your home country's rates are included; each other country is a one-off unlock (or unlock all countries at once). Saving a report and downloading it have their own small prices, shown before you confirm.
Not sure where to start?
Try the Earnings Calculator first: ten quick questions, an estimate and a path to your goal, for 1 credit.
Can I help improve the estimates?
Yes. Use Report your earnings inside the tool to share your real figures with a screenshot. Approved reports earn 50 credits, stay anonymous, and only appear as community benchmarks once at least five creators report for the same niche and country.
